Lead Hard Surface Artist at BUNGIE Inc
March 2017 – Present (10 months)
Currently working as a lead hard surface artist on Destiny 2 and Curse of Osiris.
Lead Weapon Artist at DICE (EA Digital Illusions CE)
August 2009 – March 2017 (7 years 8 months)
Currently working as a lead weapon artist on Battlefield 1.
My other projects at DICE have been Battlefield 4, Battlefield 3,
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam and Medal of Honor Tier 1.
At DICE my biggest accomplishments have been to:
- Create new workflows that has pushed the visual quality of weapons to a
whole new level of detail, complexity and innovation.
- Getting outsourcing to deliver weapon assets to the highest standard DICE has ever had.
- Delivering a huge amount of weapons, accessories and gadget assets in very limited time.
- Receiving an above target rating in the yearly evaluation every year.
My tasks has been to create art, develop and documenting workflows, inspire, teach, manage in-house and outsourcing teams, critique, render marketing assets, concept, solving problems, working with the art director setting graphical benchmarks for projects. Consistently exceeding standards and expectations.
Senior Artist GRIN
May 2007 – August 2009 (2 years 4 months)
Worked as a Senior Artist on Bionic Commando and Terminator Salvation.
At GRIN my biggest accomplishments have been to:
- Delivering art assets all the way from concept, effects, animation, marketing to finished product.
- Teaching and develop in-house artist to a high level.
- Solve gameplay and art direction issues.
My work tasks were to manage groups of specialized artist in the field of robots, vehicles, weapons.
In the groups my tasks have been too create, inspire, teach, manage, critique, present high end art content for marketing and working close with the art director and game director setting graphical benchmarks for projects.
Senior Artist SONY Guerrilla Games
February 2005 – May 2007 (2 years 4 months)
Worked as a Senior Artist on Killzone 2.
Managing the team for vehicles, weapons and robots. Tasks including art creation, developing and document workflows, scheduling, art directing, problem solving, communicate with game director,
art director and lead artist. Recruiting and interviewing prospective employees. Setting up a mentoring program between Guerrilla Games and five Universities in Holland. Organizing art competition for Guerrilla Games.
Lead Artist Game World 7
January 2003 – February 2005 (2 years 2 months)
Worked as a lead artist on titles for Bizarre Creations (Project Gotham 3), Visual Science (Unreleased), Brain in a Jar (Golden Age of Racing) and in-house project (International Super Karts). Worked as a 3D artist on titles for Electronic Arts (NFS Underground), Juice Games (Juiced), and Jester Interactive (Superbikes TT). Tasks including art creation, developing and document workflows, scheduling, problem solving, communicate with art director and external artists. Recruiting and interviewing prospective employees.
